BIO

Actor, pedagogue and mask maker, specialized in movement theatre. 

After graduating in physical theater at the Dimitri Academy (Switzerland), he founded the Teatro Insonne company, currently regarded as company of excellence by the Region of Tuscany, with which he creates and develops his own artistic practice and vision of theater.

His research and experience in non-verbal communication, particularly through the use of character masks, led him to join the German collective Familie Floez as actor, since 2014.  Familie Floez is the most renowned mask theater company in the world, with which he won the “Best Actor” award in 2016 at the International Theatre Festival in Hanoi, Vietnam. 

In the following years he also joins some of the most important European mask theater companies, including Utopik Family (Switzerland), Teatteri Metamorfoosi (Finland).

In parallel with work as performer, he develops his own pedagogical approach, leading actors and dancers groups in intensive workshops in many different realities in Italy and abroad such as: University of Ancona (Italy), Zhejiang Drama Arts in Hangzhou and Tsinghua University in Beijing (China), Helsinki Adult Education Center (Finland), G.H. School Kalimpong (India), Accademia Dimitri (Switzerland), University of Bahrain (Arabia).

In 2009 he received the “Ticino Economy Award” from SUPSI (Swiss universities) for his work on group's dynamics and relationships and the related improvement of the quality of learning proces of the students in the Dimitri Academy. 

He has performed and worked in more than 20 countries around the world.
